Home of the Three Rivers Beer Club
The Three Rivers Beer Club is a social organization dedicated to the
promotion and enjoyment of craft beers. Tasting events are open to the public, and
are held every 2nd Thursday of the month at the Allegheny HYP Club
in downtown Pittsburgh.
Every tasting includes free beer samples, appetizers prepared by the AHYP's Chef Shawn Slater, and
a brief educational presentation.
Next Tasting: Going Green with Hybrid Beers
Aug 12th, 6-8 pm
Why shell out $30K for a Prius when you can drink a hybrid beer for a few bucks? Hybrid brews straddle styles with characteristics of both lagers and ales, and they are excellent thirst quenchers for the hot summer. These brews won't lower your carbon footprint, but they will make you as cool as Al Gore in an air conditioned Suburban.
The tasting includes beer samples, appetizers, and a presentation on the selected beers. Join us at the Allegheny HYP club on Aug 12th from 6pm to 8 pm. The cost to attend is $15 per person. Please RSVP for the event using the form below.
